Three original approaches to artistic expression are delivered by a generational exhibit of the Lamr family: father Ales and his sons Hanus and Jan. In their creative work, Ales and Jan turn primarily to the painter’s canvas, while Hanus is a renowned jeweler.

A feeling for detail, precision, and an admiration for nature blend together in the jewelry creations of Hanus Lamr. Inspired by states of growth and decay, he uses a sculptor’s methods for his pieces to render realistic motifs from living nature. He gives form to what are, at first glance, unobtrusive details in his jewelry depicting delicate violet blooms, spectacularly shaped maple samaras or structurally intriguing alder tree cones.
